What's New and Coming Up in Loreto Bay!

There are lots of things happening and underway.   Our new Landscape Manager Julio Rodriguez is dong a terrific job and meeting with owners as they visit.  We have purchased a truck, equipment and hired his crew.  They are moving plants and looking to adding more color to the gardens in the next few months.  

Roberto Antonio Gonzales is communicating with owners on maintenance items and we have completed 67% of the HVAC maintenance for the homes.  With this high humidity and hot weather, the AC units really need to perform well, even for ventilation purposes.  We are scheduling waterproofing maintenance and if you have not done waterproofing on your terrace and above your second floor bedrooms for a few years, it is time to do this to avoid any water penetration and damage if we get another tropical storm. 

I am pleased to announce that we are starting the construction of Posada Sur and Posada Norte next week!   I am the Project Manager / Realtor, and Ginax is the contractor.   After 18 months of negotiation with Homex, we have come to a mutually satisfactory agreement to complete the buildings by the end of 2014.  There are 51 residential units and 2 ground level commercial floors.   This is very exciting news. 

Associa recently sent out the Proxy forms for the upcoming Annual General Meetings of the Condominium Regime scheduled for November.   Please note that I will not be accepting Proxies this year due to other commitments that prohibit me from attending the 12 Sub Regime and Master meetings.  Representing Baja Boss is our General Manager, Pedro Lizarraga Garzon, and he would be pleased to take your proxy and represent your vote.  Alternatively, if you feel there are issues upon which you want additional information or are strongly opposed to, we would recommend that you contact your Sub Regime Committee and they can assist you with a proxy or more information. 

We are excited to announce that Pescador Grocery will be coming to Loreto Bay in time for October 2013.  They will be located in Unit FN301 which is centrally located  between AV and FN.  We have been working with them for months on a concept that will satisfy the buying preferences of our community, and offer reasonable prices and selection.   We are welcoming back all other tenants for the fall, with the exception of Baja Onsite in FN469 which space is still available.   We have talked to several possible tenants interested in a fitness center, however, there was limited participation.  Hopefully we can work on this in the future. 

We are also expanding our real estate office for October and will be moving to FN305 beside the Community Center.  Our Property Management and Rental Program Office will remain in its current location of FN466, and our Real Estate Office will provide a much more appealing presence worthy of where our development is progressing.   Information on our programs and services are all listed under the umbrella of www.LoretoBayHomes.com    We have some phenomenal deals right now, due to the low summer season and Seller’s desire to sell quickly.  Some of these offerings are as follows:

One last announcement is the upcoming 10 Year Anniversary of the first Loreto Bay Sales Event!  It is very difficult to believe that I will have been here 10 years since November 15, 2003, when I first purchased my home and joined Loreto Bay Company.   It changed my life and been quite a ride.  I will be organizing a Celebration Dinner at the INN of Loreto Bay on November 15, 2013.  Tickets will be approximately $25 USD per person to just cover the costs, and we can accommodate 200 people.  All of my clients (including  Posada Owners) who have supported me through the years will be invited, as well as anyone who purchased homes in the first season (November 2003 to April 2004).    I will open up remaining tickets to others after October 10.   If you are thinking of coming to Loreto during this time, please let me know how many tickets you would like to reserve.  I expect it to fill up quickly as this is a busy time and now is the time to look at booking air travel.
